Knowledge-sharing segment on Malaysia Hari Ini (MHI)
We are proud to share that our Director, Prof. Madya Ir. Ts. Dr. Jasrul Jamani Jamian, was invited by TV3 to provide insights on alternative electricity sources, as part of a knowledge-sharing segment on Malaysia Hari Ini (MHI).
During the session, several key points were highlighted:
• Solar PV as a practical solution
Solar PV remains one of the most effective energy solutions in Malaysia, given our consistent sunlight throughout the year. It offers strong potential for long-term electricity cost savings.
• Understanding the procedures
Homeowners must follow the proper installation process, including registration with SEDA or TNB, depending on the scheme selected, such as SEDA or SELCO.
• Advantages of the ATAP scheme
Battery installation is not mandatory in most cases, unless specific conditions require it. For safety and compliance, batteries should be installed outside the house.
• Start with energy efficiency
Before installing a solar PV system, it is important to first implement energy efficiency measures to optimise overall performance and savings.
